Cavity Drain Membranes
We supply Triton and Wykamol cavity drain membranes which are used above and below ground. Above ground is classed as damp proofing and below ground is classed as waterproofing. The number in the title denotes the size of the stud – i.e. PB2 mesh membrane is a 2mm thick membrane, mesh backed to allow for adhesion of dabs/foam to install plasterboard PB2 is primarily used for damp proofing but can be used below ground too if specified by a CSSW qualified surveyor. CM8 is an 8mm stud membrane, plain backed and is used for waterproofing below ground, there is no mesh on the reverse of the membrane as it is usually used in conjunction with an internal stud wall system.
